hurdles in my soul!
Yes, the end has come to the long and prosperous track season - the only season in my high school years. The 300 hurdles was a fight to the bone, but I pumped through it like I was running for my life.
At the start of the season, hurdles was a big hassle. I didn’t know what I was doing. I couldn’t fathom sprinting through 10 high hurdles. Nevertheless, by the time of the League meet, I came through golden. It was monumental; a triumph that jerked me at my core, that reverberated heavily for days after days - what a joy. Being the opportunist, I am so unbelievably grateful. grateful, grateful, grateful, grateful. God, yes!
This night’s celebration is too BIG for a movie !
a bittersweet ending! 40.62 seconds on the 300m today.
gotta give a shout out to everything and everyone involved, from the heart.. hurdles take some big heart.
peace and prosperity to coach Dawn - hurdler extraordinaire and bad-ass.
